Hilton Worldwide appointed Todd Temperly general manager of the Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis. He will oversee its day-to-day operations. Temperly most recently served as the hotel manager of the Palmer House, a Hilton hotel in Chicago, a position he held since 2009. Prior to that, he worked at the Hilton Chicago.

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis said Mark Becker was appointed general manager. Becker will be responsible for the overall vision and future direction of the property. Previously he was general manager of Hyatt Regency Sarasota in Florida, where Becker was the leading force behind a $20 million transformation. Before that, he was executive assistant manager for Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa at Indian Wells, Calif., and Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach in California.

Bremer Bank, St. Paul, hired Meghan Brown as senior vice president and human resources director for the Twin Cities area. Brown will serve as the human resources business partner for the organization's 28 Twin Cities branch locations. Previously, Brown worked for Target Corp., where she held several human resources positions including director of human resources for the past four years. Prior to that, she spent 10 years working in human resources at Tapemark Company in St. Paul.

Bellmont Partners Public Relations, Prior Lake, hired Megan Swenson as a senior account executive. Prior to joining Bellmont Partners, Megan was an account executive with Nemer Fieger, where she managed marketing communications and event logistics for several clients, including Subway and Midtown Global Market.

Foley & Mansfield, Minneapolis, a national law firm, hired Sten Erik Hakanson as counsel. Hakanson was formerly counsel at Minneapolis' Mansfield Tanick & Cohen.

The board of directors for Andersen Corp., Bayport, appointed Jay Lund chairman. Lund, who was named president and chief executive of Andersen in March 2011, replaces chairman Jim Humphrey, who officially will retire from his board role on Feb. 22 as part of a planned transition. Humphrey joined Andersen in 1999, served as president and CEO from 2003 to 2011 and was named chairman in 2008.

NeighborWorks America and BoardSource, Minneapolis, announced that Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is one of 13 organizations to receive a $10,000 grant for completing the Excellence in Governance Program. Launched in March 2011, the 18-month program aims to help responsible community development corporation boards become exceptional boards and advance their organization's performance.
