The Eagles jumped out to an early lead with two goals in the second period and killed several power plays, winning despite being outshot 27-18. The Raiders pulled within one late in the third period, but Apple Valley's empty-net goal put the game out of reach. ... Fourth seed East Ridge's Jack Greeley scored in overtime to give his team a 4-3 win over fifth seed Hastings. Tyler Guck stopped 19 shots for the Raiders. ... • SECTION 2: Top seed Edina outshot eighth seed Shakopee 82-16 and rolled to a 7-1 victory. Connor Hurley and Dylan Malmquist each tallied two goals for the Hornets. ... Fourth seed Bloomington Jefferson scored three goals in the third period in the Jaguars' 7-4 victory over No. 5 seed Holy Angels. • SECTION 5: Third seed Princeton scored twice in the third period to beat sixth seed Sauk Rapids-Rice 4-1. Dan Muench scored twice for the Tigers. ... Second seed St. Cloud Cathedral scored 11 times in the second period to stomp past seventh seed Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson 17-1. Austin Poganski scored five times and Will Hammer three times.
