Minneapolis police suspect a pair of men are responsible for more than a dozen armed robberies that have taken place on the south side of Minneapolis since late March.

In each case, the suspects appear to be two men armed with a semi-automatic handgun, according to police. The pair has stolen whatever valuables victims have had on them, including laptops, cell phones, clothes, wallets, credit cards, passports and glasses.

The suspects have been robbing victims on foot. These incidents have most often occurred between 8:45 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The last several cases have involved either a Dodge Stratus described as either tan or dark colored or a tan Ford Taurus type vehicle.

Most of the cases have occurred in the third precinct within an area bordered by Franklin Avenue, 15th Avenue S., E. Lake Street and Portland Avenue.

According to South Minneapolis Crime Watch, a little after 10 p.m. Thursday night there were two separate robberies reported near the 300th block of 14th and 3100 block of 15th Ave. S. The suspects' descriptions matched those of previous armed robberies.
