About 30 workers at a Duluth Wendy's thought they might be out of a paycheck when their restaurant suffered a fire in January. But the Duluth News Tribune reports that the owner is still making payroll.

Owner Bob Sullivan, of Brainerd, worried that cutting off paychecks could put valued employees at risk, the newspaper reported.

"We have a great team of people working for us, and they've got bills to pay like everyone else. We want to do our best to keep as many of them as we can," Sullivan told the News Tribune. "It's just the right thing to do."

Sullivan told the newspaper that his insurance police includes loss-of-income coverage, though he doesn't know how much of the payroll will be covered by it.
