Authorities in central Minnesota seized more than 9 pounds of marijuana that had been shipped from Colorado and arrested a drug dealer Thursday.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office intercepted the marijuana as it was being sent in the mail from Colorado to a home in the 19000 block of County Road 43 outside Big Lake, Minn. There, they arrested a 37-year-old man who hasn't yet been charged and who also has lived in Plymouth, according to public records. Authorities said the man had arranged previous deliveries of drugs to residences in Sherburne County.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service assisted with the investigation.

The arrest was part of a five-month drug investigation by the Sherburne County Drug Task Force.
