The Tuesday rush hour was about as smooth as a drive to work can be with very little congestion and only a couple of accidents that caused delays.

Aside from the usual slow downs on I-94, 35E and 35W in downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul, traffic rolled along at or near the posted speeds.

One hiccup on the Northstar line to report today. The third inbound run was hung up in the Fridley yard for about 20 minutes due to a switching issue, Metro Transit said.

At current, look for a minor hold up on eastbound Hwy. 10 near Hanson Blvd. A crash in the left lane just cleared out.

In Brooklyn Center, a person is changing a tire under the overpass on eastbound 94 at Zane Avenue.

Look out for a forlorn vehicle sitting on the left shoulder of northbound 35W at 73rd Street in Richfield.

That's it for this morning. I'll be back Wednesday with live traffic reports. Remember, questions about Twin Cities traffic are welcome at drive@startribune.com.
