Our latest hotspot is on westbound Hwy. 55 at Hwy. 5 where there is a four-car accident blocking the left lane.
That's symbolic of what has been happening all across the metro this morning. We've had no fewer than 30 crashes and numerous stalls across the system.
Cedar Avenue has become a new trouble spot with wrecks and stalls at 74th Street and 63rd Street.
The crashes on north 35 in Lakeville have cleared, but traffic is stacked up beyond 225th Street.
Not much improvement on 494 in the west metro. It's still 45 minutes to an hour to get from 94 to 394.
In the east metro and in Bloomington, several crashes are still snarling traffic on 494 in both directions. Plan on 55 minutes heading west from 694 to Hwy. 110.
It's 30 minutes on northbound 169 from Canterbury Road to 494.
