A crash on southbound 494 at Carver Avenue is the beginning of a bottleneck that remains in place across the Wakota Bridge. Plan on adding 3 to 5 extra minutes to the drive. Ahead, things sail along over to 24th Avenue in Bloomington where you'll start riding the brakes again. That will last over to Lyndale Avenue.
Word is traffic is awful on northbound Hwy. 52 through the single lane work zone in Inver Grove Heights. Things crammed 117th Avenue up to Concord Blvd.
Look for a new crash on northbound Hwy. 169 at Minnetonka Blvd. That's creating a slow down starting at Hwy. 7.
