Commuters on westbound 494 in the southeast metro are needed a few extra minutes. There's quite a crush of traffic from Carver Avenue to Concord Street.
Things are much worse on northbound Cedar Avenue and 35W coming up from County Road 42. It's 15 to 20 minutes on either route up to the Crosstown.
Speaking of the Crosstown, nobody is going to fast in either direction between Cedar Avenue and Hwy. 100. Plan on 15 to 18 minutes to make that trip.
A stall on westbound 494 is creating only minor delays at Lyndale Avenue.
The north metro is not looking so hot either. Drivers will find crowds on southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280, southbound 494 from 94 to 394 and eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 94.
