A new crash on southbound 35W at County Road 96 is blocking the right shoulder. Slowdowns begin at County Road I.
The bigger delay is on westbound 694 due to a crash involving a semitrailer truck at Hwy. 252. It's taking some drivers 23 minutes to get from 35W to Shingle Creek Pkwy. There is word of a secondary crash at East River Road.
Central Avenue is a bit busy as folks navigate around the closure of Hennepin and Washington Avenue, and surrounding streets. The Hennepin Avenue Bridge is open, however.
Metro Transit buses in downtown Minneapolis are on detour due to the Hennepin Avenue closure. About 15 routes are affected. A list is at http://metrotransit.org/Mobile/NewsItem.aspx?articleID=1213
