Compared with what we saw earlier this week, the delay on northbound Hwy. 169 is rather minor today. There is a line of traffic but it only extends to just prior to Hwy. 101. By this time yesterday, the backup was down to County Road 18.
Right now the wait will cost you an extra 5 to7 minutes, but that will still be faster than scooting over to 35W if you've been using that as an alternate.
Northbound 35W through Lakeville, Burnsville and Bloomington is rolling along at near the posted speeds. No congestion to speak of.
Southbound 35W also is looking good this morning. No incidents or delays that will make commuters late for work.
