Eastbound Hwy. 10 is absorbing extra traffic today as drivers follow the Hwy. 47 detour in place due to construction of the railroad crossing on Hwy. 47 at the Anoka County Fairgrounds.
A fender bender involving five vehicles is off to the right shoulder at Thurston Avenue. The right lane also is blocked, so plan on a few extra minutes as you make the drive from Ramsey to Anoka.
Westbound Hwy. 610 is also busier than normal. Look for thick traffic from Coon Rapids Blvd. to Hwy .252.
Congestion is building on the ususal routes:
- Westbound I-94 from McKnight Road to 35E
- Southbound 35W from Lake Drive to 694
- Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Airport Road to 35W
