Commuters who use northbound/westbound Hwy. 55 to get to Minneapolis will find the highway is closed at Eagandale Blvd. That's because of a serious injury crash ahead at Northland Drive.
According to MnDOT, that portion of the highway in Mendota Heights will be closed through the morning rush hour. The State Patrol is sending a reconstruction team to the site. That often means there is a fatality.
We have few problems elsewhere on the mainline routes. Traffic is moving swiftly and smoothly.
