The rush hour is getting busy on routes in the north metro. Look for pockets of slow traffic on eastbound 94 from the Crow River over to 101st Avenue and ahead at Weaver Lake Road.
On southbound 35E, traffic loses steam from County Road J to County Road 96 and things are getting thick from Larpenteur Avenue into downtown St. Paul.
The same is true on southbound 35W from Lake Drive to County Road 96. Speeds drop to about 40 miles per hour as traffic volumes build.
A line up is forming on eastbound 94 from 7th Street through the Lowry Hill Tunnel where we have a crash on the right shoulder outside the east end of the tube.
In the south metro, prepare for a minor delay on northbound 35W at Burnsville Pkwy. A trooper is on the scene of a crash that sent one vehicle into the right ditch.
In St. Paul, the usual heavy traffic is forming on westbound 94 from Hwy. 61 into downtown St. Paul. Plan on a few extra minutes heading into the capitol area.
