6:30 a.m. update: Quickly clogging up on 35W in north metro

The traffic jam on southbound 35W materialized quickly. Things are locked up starting at 95th Avenue in the Lino Lakes and Blaine Area and it's tight all the way to 694.

The traffic jam on southbound 35W materialized quickly. Things are locked up starting at 95th Avenue in the Lino Lakes and Blaine Area and it's tight all the way to 694.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 also slows from County I over to 35W. Plan on 15 minutes from County 10 to 694.

Tim Harlow covers traffic and transportation issues in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and likes to get out of the office, even during rush hour. He also covers the suburbs in northern Hennepin and all of Anoka counties, plus breaking news and weather.
