Three armed robberies in the north metro in a 15-minute span Thursday night resulted in a manhunt and ultimately arrests.

The robberies occurred around 11 p.m. in Spring Lake Park and Blaine, according to authorities.

A Blaine police officer spotted a vehicle fitting the description, and it was later found crashed and abandoned. Police from several cities set up a perimeter and arrested three suspects.

On Friday, the Anoka County attorney's office filed charges of aggravated first-degree robbery and attempted robbery against Kenyatta Devine Buckles, 18; Ezekiel John Miller, 19; and Torrie Videl Bingham, 19.

According to the criminal complaint, the first victim was walking along a service road parallel to County Road 10 in Spring Lake Park when two men jumped from a car and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects punched the victim and hit him with the butt of the weapon, the complaint said.

Minutes later, a man was pulled from a motorized scooter while at a stoplight at Able Street and 87th Lane in Blaine. The suspects, who got out of a car, were armed with a long gun and took his cellphone and cash.

A third man reported that two men with a gun approached him on 95th Avenue. They demanded cash but he said he didn't have any. The men put the gun to his head, according to the complaint.
