A pickup truck rolled over in North Dakota near the Minnesota border, and both occupants were thrown to their deaths, authorities said Sunday.
The crash happened about 9 p.m. Saturday on a gravel county road 4 miles south of Wahpeton, according to the Highway Patrol.
The pickup drifted in the northbound lane, the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled, the patrol said.
Jessica Denetz, 35, of Mantador, N.D., and Jeremy Denetz, of Doran, Minn., were declared dead at the scene, the patrol said. Neither had on seat belts.
The patrol said Monday that it has yet to determine who was driving or how the two victims were related.
