This week, and specifically today, are coined teacher appreciation week. A week in which we honor and thank all of those teachers who are in the trenches with our kids each and every day. Teachers, it seems, unfairly take the brunt of society's frustrations with education. They are overworked and underpaid, do so much without credit and truly make a difference each and every day by staying late and coaching sports or tutoring and coming early to meet with a student who's behind or parents who are concerned about progress.

How do you thank your childrens' teachers? Do you make cards or send in gift cards? Do you put together a Pinterest worthy gift?
