Nicholas Greve, the brother-in-law of Minnesota Lynx basketball player Lindsay Whalen, has been identified as the man whose body was recovered over the weekend from Pelican Lake after he left a bar early Sunday.

Greve, 26, of Richfield, was found in 3 feet of water under a dock, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.

He was seen leaving the Dockside Bar about 2:20 a.m., the Sheriff's Office said, adding that foul play is not suspected.

Greve was the brother of Whalen's husband, Ben Greve, a former golfer for the University of Minnesota, where Whalen also played college ball.

Nick Greve played golf for Annandale High School and Gustavus Adolphus College.
