EDEN PRAIRIE

OCT. 17

Drunken driving. A 25-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving on the 8000 block of Eden Road. His blood-alcohol content was .17 percent, police said.

Theft. Golf equipment and miscellaneous items were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 15000 block of Boulder Pointe Road.

OCT. 28

Indecent exposure. A woman from the 11000 block of Anderson Lakes Parkway called police to report that she had looked out her balcony and observed a man standing on a chair of his second-floor balcony with his pants down. The witness took her video camera and recorded the incident. There were several other witnesses including a woman in her vehicle with her three children, ages 7, 2 and 9 months old, police said. The man was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct in the fifth degree.

INDEPENDENCE

OCT. 25

Animal assistance. Police were called to a home on the 2900 block of Lindgren Lane because a 1-year-old cattle dog was stuck 15 feet up in a tree. The frightened dog attempted to bite the rescuer. He was eventually captured with a snare pole. When the dog was returned to his owner he bit the owner, police said.

MEDINA

OCT. 17

Dumping complaint. A person called police to report that someone had dumped three or four bags of trash in his dumpster. Police located the person responsible by finding a piece of mail bearing his name and address in one of the garbage bags.

MAPLE PLAIN

OCT. 30

Property damage. Police received a report of property damage on the 1500 block of Howard Avenue. A 24-year-old Maple Plain man broke a lawn chair and an outside light because he was upset that he was denied alcohol from a business because of his intoxication, police said. His portable breath-test result was .17 percent alcohol content, police said.

MINNETRISTA

OCT. 25

Drugs. Police stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 7 for an equipment violation. The driver, a 35-year-old Montevideo man, was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested for the warrant, driving after suspension and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

OCT. 31

Public assistance. Three juveniles approached a reserve officer and said they were lost from the group they had been trick-or-treating with. The officer was able to reunite them with their group.

PLYMOUTH

OCT. 24

Theft. Police responded to a report of a theft at a hotel on the 2600 block of Annapolis Lane. Two women, both 18, told police that they met the suspect and he stated he needed a place to stay and could not rent a room because he was not 21 years old. The women allowed him to stay in their room and when they awoke, the man was gone and so was one woman's purse.

OCT. 25

Curfew violation. Someone called police to report that two juveniles were looking into vehicles near Carlson Parkway and Xenium Lane. An officer spotted two youths who took off running, but the boys, ages 15 and 16, were apprehended. They stated they were looking into the vehicles for something to drink, police said. Both boys were cited for curfew violation and released to parents.

OCT. 29

Miscellaneous. A man at an establishment in the 4100 block of Berkshire Lane kept taking drinks that the bartender had made for the wait staff and was drinking them, police said. He was told to leave and threatened an employee, police said. When police arrived, the suspect threw a drink at an officer and attempted to fight him, police said. He was taken to a hospital and charges were pending.
