EDINA

NOV. 10

Theft. Two wallets and a cell phone were reported stolen from women's bags at a business in the 4400 block of France Avenue S. The women were in a dance rehearsal when the theft occurred.

NOV. 12

Drunken driving. Police were called to the northbound entrance ramp of Hwy. 100 off of Eden Avenue because the driver of the vehicle was slumped over. Police arrested a 54-year-old Edina woman for driving while intoxicated.

NOV. 13

Indecent exposure. A woman called police to report that a man opened his pants and exposed himself to her at Centennial Lakes Park, France Avenue S. and Gallagher Drive. He fled before police arrived.

HOPKINS

OCT. 19

Theft. Someone reportedly stole a backpack leaf blower from the Meadow Creek Condominiums, 823 Old Settlers Trail. The leaf blower had been left unattended.

MAPLE GROVE

OCT. 30

Theft. Someone stole a deer stand from the 7000 block of Wellington Lane, police said.

MAPLE PLAIN

OCT. 20

Parental assistance. A parent called police from a restaurant parking lot in the 5100 block of Hwy. 12 to report that his 7-year-old daughter would not get into his vehicle and buckle up properly. The officer was able to talk to the girl and get her to get into the vehicle and buckle up.

OCT. 21

Motorist assistance. A 52-year-old woman stopped at a gas station in the 5200 block of Hwy. 12 to ask for directions and was given a map and directions to a location in the city of Independence. After the woman returned for the third time for additional information, an officer had her follow him to her destination.

MEDINA

OCT. 10

Suspicious person. Police received a call about an intoxicated man knocking on sliding glass doors in the 1500 block of Hame Road. Officers checked the area and found the man hiding in some pine trees. He was transported home.

PLYMOUTH

OCT. 16

Theft. A 33-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested for shoplifting $390 worth of merchandise from a store in the 3500 block of Vicksburg Lane. She was arrested a second time for shoplifting $27.31 worth of merchandise at the same store two hours later, police said.

SHOREWOOD

OCT. 13

Tobacco violation. An officer pulled up behind a vehicle that was stopped at the intersection of Vine Hill Road and Hwy. 7. Four high school age girls were in the vehicle and a back-seat passenger threw a lit cigarette butt out the window, police said. A 16-year-old Shorewood girl and a 17-year-old Minnetonka girl were cited for possession of tobacco, according to police reports.

OCT. 15

Property damage. A resident of the 6100 block of McKinley Circle called police to report finding urine and feces on his front porch. Police observed smeared dog feces on the front door and possible urine on the porch.

OCT. 17

Animal complaint. A homeowner in the 5600 block of Wood Duck Circle called police to report a coyote in his back yard. Police found a coyote lying in the sun. It ran back into the woods.

OCT. 18

Theft. A resident of the 4700 block of Bayswater Road called police to report that jewelry had been stolen. According to police reports, the resident claimed the jewelry was in a plastic bag in the bottom of a shopping bag in the corner of a closet. Also reported missing was another piece of jewelry that was in a drawer in the bedroom. Two days later, the resident informed police that the jewelry had turned up in a suitcase.
