Drunken driving. Police received a complaint of a vehicle tailgating other vehicles near Pioneer Trail and Audubon Road. Police found the driver in the driveway of his home. According to police, he was very intoxicated and uncooperative. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, possession of a small amount of marijuana and obstructing the legal process.
NOV. 4
Underage consumption. A 15-year-old boy was arrested after he was found to be intoxicated at Edina High School, 6745 Valley View Road, police said.
NOV. 5
Burglary. Someone stole a laptop and equipment, computer software, alcohol and coffee beans from an office on the 7200 block of France Avenue S.
NOV. 8
Robbery. A woman was waiting at a bus stop on York Avenue S. and Hazelton Road when a driver pulled up beside her and robbed her of her purse, police said.
NOV. 9
Burglary. Someone entered a home on the 16200 block of Elm Road through an unlocked door and stole alcohol, video games, a TV and camcorders.
OCT. 9
Drugs. Police were called about a suspicious vehicle on the 1200 block of Oakview Road. Police located the vehicle and cited a 16-year-old Medina girl for possession of marijuana. A 16-year-old Medina boy also was cited for possession of marijuana, tobacco and drug paraphernalia, police said.
OCT. 7
Theft. A woman reported that she had thrown a birthday party at the Bayview Event Center in Excelsior and taken a taxi home because she had consumed alcohol. The woman said all her belongings, including her purse, cell phone, leather jacket and birthday presents, were in the trunk of the taxicab. The taxi driver dropped her off at home and left with the belongings still in the trunk, she said, and she has been unsuccessful in retrieving them. She valued them at $1,450.
OCT. 2
Underage drinking. Parents of a boy called police to report an alcohol overdose on the 16800 block of County Road 24. Friends of the boy called his parents to tell them he had been drinking and passed out, police said. The 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and police told the parents that their son would be mailed a citation.
OCT. 5
Underage drinking. Police were called to Wayzata High School, 4955 Peony Lane N., after five 10th-grade girls reportedly were caught sharing a container of alcohol in a restroom. All five were arrested, police said.
OCT. 21
Theft. A 19-year-old woman from the 3600 block of Lancaster Lane called police to report a theft. She told police she had had four friends over the previous evening. The next morning she found her credit card and vehicle were missing, and she believed one of her friends had stolen them. Richfield police located the vehicle that night and arrested two suspects, a 20-year-old man and a 26-year-old man.
OCT. 6
Trespassing. Police were called to the 35600 block of Wild Rose Lane regarding a disturbance. A 25-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
