Moorhead campus locked down after armed robbery

The Minnesota State University, Moorhead campus was locked down for about 90 minutes Sunday night after an armed robbery two blocks from campus, the school security department reported.

The robbery happened about 9 p.m. and three armed robbers were believed headed toward the campus, said Mike Parks, the school's director of security.

He said buildings were searched but no one was found. The lockdown was called off about 10:30 p.m.

No one was injured on campus, and it is unknown if students were involved.
