2 jailed after motorist is shot in leg in Buffalo

Two jailed after driver shot in Buffalo.

Two people were booked into the Wright County jail Wednesday after a woman was shot while driving on Hwy. 55 in Buffalo.

The 67-year-old Buffalo woman called authorities about 4:45 p.m. saying she thought she had been shot. When Buffalo police and Wright County deputies located her on Hwy. 55 and 10th Street NE., near Target, they found she had been shot in the leg.

Police, sheriff's deputies and conservation officers began searching the area and found a man from Buffalo and a juvenile male from Montrose whom they took into custody. The Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate.
