Property damage. Someone damaged a mailbox with fireworks at a home on the 21900 block of Homestead Trail.
AUG. 29
Drunken driving. An 18-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and underage consumption of alcohol after being stopped at Prairie Center Drive and Technology Drive. He had a 0.21 blood-alcohol content.
SEPT. 14
Theft. Over the summer, $1,100 worth of computer equipment was stolen from Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road.
SEPT. 1
Property damage. Officers observed eight to 10 juveniles around a picnic table in Excelsior Commons Park. A 17-year-old Excelsior boy was using a pocket knife to cut the picnic table. He was cited for criminal damage to property. A 17-year-old Shorewood boy was cited for possession of tobacco and drug paraphernalia. A 16-year-old Tonka Bay girl, a 16-year-old Chanhassen boy and a 16-year-old Minnetonka boy were cited for possession of tobacco.
SEPT. 3
Animal complaint. Someone called police to report there was an alligator on a leash in the water at the end of the dock near Maynard's, 685 Excelsior Blvd. Someone had been walking the alligator on a leash, according to police. But the person and the alligator were gone when police arrived.
SEPT. 7
Suspicious activity. Someone called police to report that kids were rolling a couch on skateboards and were heading toward the lake on 3rd Street and W. Lake Street. The caller thought the kids might dump the couch into the lake. Officers located the juveniles sitting on the couch at the dead end on 3rd Street. They were advised to return the couch to where they found it.

Theft. Four bicycles were stolen from an unlocked garage of a home in the 600 block of Oak Park Lane.
SEPT. 12
Property damage. Someone squirted mustard on a vehicle on the 6400 block of Forestview Lane N.
SEPT. 12
Robbery. A 50-year-old man reported that two males ages 15 to 35 approached him on bikes along Lake Street near 27th or 28th Avenue South. He said the younger suspect put a handgun to his head and both suspects demanded money. The victim said he gave them $150 and the suspects fled.
SEPT. 8
Drugs. When police stopped a vehicle on County Road 110W, an 18-year-old Waconia woman was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
SEPT. 4
Drugs. An officer who spotted a vehicle at Old Market Shopping Center, Hwy. 7 and Old Market Road, said the driver appeared to be holding a glass pipe. An 18-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Minnetonka man, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana, police said.
