BUFFALO

MAY 31

Theft. Sometime during the night a storage shed was removed from a home on the 300 block of 13th Street S.

CHANHASSEN

MAY 28

Theft. A woman called police because she believed her vehicle was stolen from her home on the 6800 block of Lake Harrison Circle. The woman called back to say she remembered she had left her vehicle at a restaurant.

EDINA

JUNE 1

Burglary. A chainsaw and leaf blower were stolen from a garage on the 4600 block of Lexington Street.

JUNE 4

License violation. A 62-year-old woman was charged with operating a massage business without a license in an apartment on the 6400 block of York Avenue S.

JUNE 5

Theft. Someone called police after a necklace valued at $3 was stolen from a display tent at the Edina Art Fair on the 3900 block of 49 1/2 Street W.

Fire. Officers responded to a report of a fire at Walnut Ridge Park, 5801 Londonderry Road. Two boys, ages 15 and 16, were playing with a lighter and started the fire. Both were arrested.

Driving violation. A 17-year-old boy was charged with careless driving because the vehicle he was driving struck a house on the 5400 block of Beard Avenue S. A 17-year-old girl was charged with allowing an unlicensed driver to drive her vehicle.

HOPKINS

JUNE 3

Burglary. Someone reportedly entered a home on the 150 block of 8th Avenue S. through an unlocked patio door and stole $1,500 to $1,800 in cash from a dresser drawer.

MINNEAPOLIS

JUNE 4

Assault. A sprinkler company employee, working on the irrigation system at the McDonald's on the 4400 block of Lyndale Avenue N., moved a bicycle off a bike rack to get at a sprinkler valve and was punched in the face by the bicycle's owner. The suspect said he thought the contractor was trying to steal his bike.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 26

Drugs. A vehicle was stopped on Medicine Lake Drive W. and 23rd Avenue N. for a traffic offense. The driver did not have a license or insurance. The driver wanted to retrieve some items from the vehicle before it was towed. Officers said they observed in plain view a crack pipe. The 39-year-old man was arrested and a search of the vehicle was conducted; 10 grams of methamphetamine and extra baggies were found.

Theft. Police were called to a theft in progress at Cub Foods, 3550 Vicksburg Lane N. A suspect took a chicken dinner and a bottle of pills and fled the store on foot.

MAY 28

Burglary. Golf clubs were stolen from an open garage on the 16000 block of 45th Avenue N. The homeowner had left the garage door open while working in his back yard.

MAY 29

Vandalism. Police responded to a report of girls toilet-papering trees at a home on the 17200 block of 5th Avenue N. Four juveniles were identified and admitted to doing it and agreed to come back that day to clean up the mess.

WACONIA

MAY 22

Animal rescue. Someone called police because there were 13 to 17 ducklings stuck in a storm drain on the 100 block of Lake Street E. Public Works removed the ducklings from the drain.

JUNE 7

Suspicious activity. Police responded to a complaint of a loud party on the 1700 block of Sterling Road. One juvenile was cited for minor consumption and eight people were cited for underage consumption.
