Last update: January 21, 2009 - 9:15 PM

Minnesota authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and prosecution in the unsolved slaying of a Chaska businessman whose body was found in his burning vehicle last month in rural Sibley County.

Daniel Juarez, 42, was discovered in the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, found ablaze at 4:15 a.m. Dec. 6 in a remote area 1 mile north of Green Isle, southwest of the Twin Cities. An autopsy revealed Juarez had been killed, but a cause of death has not been released.

Juarez was the owner of DJ Satellite Service and El Heraldo Magazine in Chaska.

Anyone with information about Juarez should contact the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Tip Line at 1-877-996-6222.
