CHASKA

NOV. 14

Property damage. An intoxicated man reportedly was angry with his girlfriend for talking to another man. They were arguing as they walked into her apartment building on Millpond Court, and he allegedly threw a frozen pizza at the wall, causing damage to a fire extinguisher box. Inside her apartment he continued to be irate and she threatened to call the police if he did not calm down. He dialed 911 and then hung up before the call went through. Police officers arrived and observed the damage and the frozen pizza still lying in the hallway. The man was arrested, charged with criminal property damage and placed in a detox facility.

NOV. 16

Assault. A vehicle was pulled over for erratic driving in the area of Pioneer Trail and McKnight Road. The male driver was intoxicated and was arrested for DWI, police said, while an intoxicated female passenger refused to identify herself and after being placed under arrest, she forcibly resisted and tried to kick the officers. At the jail, she kicked a detention deputy in the face and chest, police said. She was charged with fourth-degree assault, obstructing the legal process, minor consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in a detox facility.

NOV. 17

Theft. An employee at the Hot Spot convenience store, 650 Chestnut St., is accused of stealing approximately $7,000 in lottery tickets and cell phone cards from the store.

CORCORAN

NOV. 15

Suspicious activity. Someone called the police at 1:57 a.m. to report that a person was walking by the side of the road on Hackamore Road and Hunter Road. An officer located the individual. The temperature was approximately 28 degrees, so for safety reasons, the officer transported the individual home.

NOV. 17

Suspicious person. The police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 7500 block of County Road 116. The occupant of the vehicle, who had been sleeping, claimed to be resting before work. The officer said that sleeping in the lot was not allowed and the driver left.

MEDINA

NOV. 12

Fire. A motor home was on fire on the 400 block of Hamel Road. The Hamel Fire Department extinguished the blaze. There was heavy fire and smoke damage.

PLYMOUTH

NOV. 10

Alcohol compliance check. Two businesses failed an alcohol compliance check, police said. Applebee's, 3500 Vicksburg Lane, and Chipotle, 3425 Vicksburg Lane, both sold alcohol to minors.

NOV. 11

Theft. Two snowmobiles and a trailer were stolen from a home on the 12800 block 54th Avenue N. While en route to the call, an officer located the trailer, parked on the side of the road.

Domestic assault. A man reportedly was assaulted by his fiance on the 3400 block of Pilgrim Lane North. She was arrested after she allegedly hit him several times and bit him.

SHOREWOOD

NOV. 16

Disorderly conduct. Officers were dispatched to the American Legion, 24450 Smithtown Road, on a report of an intoxicated woman causing trouble. Officers located the woman westbound on Smithtown Road. She was having difficulty walking and was nearly struck by a passing vehicle. The woman was taken into custody and transported to detox.
