A semitrailer truck carrying cattle to a processing plant rolled over early Monday when the driver failed to negotiate a roundabout on a highway in Carver County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The truck carrying 32 animals was on its way to a processing plant in Wisconsin when it rolled over around 12:25 a.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 25 and Hwy. 7 near Mayer, Minn. It hit a power pole before it tipped over.
Authorities shut down the intersection for a couple of hours while cattle were removed from the truck and the semi was put upright.
