Woman assaulted during break-in at Eden Prairie home

Last update: October 13, 2008 - 8:06 AM

A woman was sexually assaulted during a break-in at a residence in the 6400 block of Regency Lane in Eden Prairie Saturday night, police said.

Intruders broke into the house and tied up two women who were inside. The women, who are in their 30s, told police that they were tied up by as many as three intruders, and one of them was sexually assaulted.

The women said they freed themselves Sunday morning, then called police, who continue to investigate. There are no descriptions of the assailants.
