Update: Hwy. 100 was reopened around 3:10 p.m.
About a 1-mile stretch of both northbound and southbound Hwy. 100 was shut down Monday afternoon due to a traffic incident.

Authorities shut down the highway between 36th and 42nd Avenues N. in Robbinsdale. As a result, the state Department of Transportation said southbound traffic on Hwy. 100 must exit at 42nd Avenue N. in Robbinsdale and northbound traffic must exit at 36th Avenue N.

Several agencies, including the State Patrol, Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and Robbinsdale police, are on the scene for a possible suicidal person on the 36th Avenue N. bridge.
