Two masked men, one with a small semiautomatic handgun, held up a video game store in the city of St. Anthony and made off with a slew of video games, then committed grand theft auto to make their getaway, authorities said.

The stickup occurred about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the GameStop in a shopping complex off of Silver Lake Road near 39th Avenue NE., according to police.

The suspects also had the hoods of their sweatshirts pulled over their heads as they stole numerous Xbox and PlayStation gaming systems and various tablets, police said.

They then stole an employee's car and fled. Police describe the vehicle as a 1999 two-door blue Saturn CS2 Coupe, with Minnesota license plate 830 MVA.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 612-782-3350.
