St. David's to host session for parents

St. David's Center's parenting series continues with "ATTENTION PLEASE! Understanding Your Child's Attention Span" on Thursday, Nov. 20.

Looking at the topic from the perspectives of health, nutrition, physical development and behavior, a panel of four experts will address how the food children eat, their activities and their daily schedules can affect their ability to pay attention.

This free class will take place 7 to 8:30 p.m. at St. David's Center, 3395 Plymouth Rd., Minnetonka.

Attendees will learn about the triggers that make it difficult for children to pay attention, and how to maximize nutrition and physical activity to support attention. Tools and advice on daily structure will be discussed.

This event is free and open to the public, but online registration is required at www.stdavidscenter.org/ces. For more information, contact Special Events Manager Layne Trout at 952-548-8627 or events@stdavidscenter.org.
