County Veterans Court seeks mentors

Carver County Veterans Court is actively recruiting male and female mentors from Carver County and surrounding areas.

Mentor candidates must have served in the U.S. military and been honorably discharged.

The court provides veterans who become involved in the criminal justice system the opportunity to change and improve their lives through a program that promotes consequences and accountability, with services tailored to the veteran's specific needs.

Mentors assist veterans in these programs as they seek to fulfill their court requirements. Mentors receive training before being paired with a veteran.

Mentor candidates should contact Bill Preiss at 612-868-6592 or preissment@gmail.com.
