Underage consumption: Five people were cited for minor consumption and two were also cited for fleeing police after officers received a complaint of a juvenile drinking party at a home on Dustin Road.

AUG. 5

Drugs: An Edina man, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 4100 block of Grimes Avenue.

Assault: An Edina woman, 18, was arrested on suspicion of assault following a disturbance on the 5200 block of Villa Way.

AUG. 7

Underage consumption: An Edina man, 18, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 5200 block of Interlachen Boulevard. A girl, 17, was cited for juvenile consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.

AUG. 23

Welfare check: Someone called police to report a man and a crying woman. Officers located the two and found the woman was crying because they had just dropped their son off at college.

Animal complaint: Officers received a report of an angry horde of bees located close to people on Lake and Water streets.

AUG. 27

Burglary: Two firearms, silver cups and a Japanese samurai sword were stolen from a home on the 5100 block of Meadville Street.

AUG. 4

Suspicious persons: Officers located two females hanging outside a business on the 5200 block of Highway 12. According to police reports, they said they had been kicked out of their stepmother's house and were waiting for a ride.

MEDINA

AUG. 6

Domestic: A woman from the 300 block of Cherry Hill Trail reported to police that her son was calling her names. She also said her son is not allowed in the house when she or her husband were not home.

Fraud: An employee discovered a credit card skimmer located behind a gas pump at Sinclair, 7733 Portland Av. S.

AUG. 30

Drugs: A Minneapolis woman, 32, was cited for possession of marijuana after an officer observed a possible drug transaction taking place in the parking lot of Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S.

SEPT. 1

Burglary: A cash register, containing $2,500, was stolen from Lyn 65 Kitchen and Bar, 6439 Lyndale Av. S.

Drunken driving: A man, 40, was arrested for drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident after officers found him hiding in the bushes. He had crashed his vehicle into a landscaping rock at Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S.

AUG. 22

Noise complaint: Officers responded to a home on the 28000 block of Woodside Road regarding a noise complaint. A back-to-school ninth-grade party was occurring. The homeowners agreed to turn the music down.

SEPT. 3

Theft: A 2013 Nissan Sentra was stolen from the 6000 block of Riviera Lane.
