A motorcyclist was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision after a car crossed a highway centerline in Wright County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash occurred about 9:40 a.m. on Hwy. 12 near Zephyr Avenue on the eastern edge of Montrose, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
The identity of the motorcyclist, who died at the scene, is to be released Friday.
The car's driver — a 17-year-old girl — was not hurt, the Wright County Sheriff's Office said.
Her name was not released Thursday by the patrol, pending possible criminal charges.
