Animal complaint: A loose chicken was reported in the parking lot at Mills Fleet Farm, 1935 Levi Griffin Rd.

Medical: A 2-year-old boy swallowed liquid from a neon bracelet on the 9500 block of Washington Boulevard. It was determined it was only a small amount of liquid, so the boy was OK.

WEEK OF DEC. 16

Underage drinking: Officers responded to a home on Manuela Drive regarding a complaint of a juvenile drinking party. More than 35 juveniles and minor adults were present. Eighteen were cited for underage consumption, and the resident, a minor, was cited for violating the social host ordinance.

Assist public: Officers responded to a report of a woman locked out of her vehicle on Hwy. 41 and Crosstown Boulevard. Officers discovered that she was locked inside the vehicle, not outside. She told officers the vehicle's battery was dead and she was unable to electronically unlock the doors. An officer advised her how to manually unlock the door and she was able to unlock it and exit the vehicle.

Drunken driving: An 18-year-old Greenfield woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, possession of an open bottle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of liquor by a person under 21 after she was stopped on County Roads 19 and 30.

Theft: Unattended shopping bags containing clothing, valued at $825, were stolen from Southdale Center.

DEC. 23

Drugs: Two boys, ages 16 and 17, were arrested for possession of marijuana after officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report on the 5500 block of McGuire Road.

Theft: Suspects fled the Coach store in the Galleria with $5,448 worth of merchandise.

JAN. 1

Theft: A 19-year-old Edina man was arrested for stealing a car, assault and ­obstructing the legal process on the 5200 block of Duncraig Road.

GREENWOOD

DEC. 7

Weapon: A 22-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for possession of brass knuckles and drug paraphernalia at Hwy. 7 and Christmas Lake Road.

MEDINA

DEC. 4

Water incident: An ATV fell through the ice on a pond in the 4400 block of Trillium Drive S. All parties involved were accounted for.

RICHFIELD

JAN. 4

Theft: A 2000 Ford Windstar was stolen from the 1000 block of 77th Street E. It was later recovered in Minneapolis.

JAN. 7

Theft: A purse was stolen after it was left in a shopping cart at Dollar Tree, 64 66th St. W.

Theft: A juvenile employee was cited for theft at Target, 6445 Richfield Pkwy.

Theft: Officers responded to Best Buy headquarters, 7601 Penn Av. S., regarding an employee theft. A 34-year-old Richfield man was arrested.

SHOREWOOD

JAN. 2

Animal complaint: A woman reported being followed by a coyote while skiing in Freeman Park on Highway 7. She was advised to bring a noisemaker or whistle with her in the future.
