Residents of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District are invited to two informational sessions being offered this month about the district's increasingly popular Master Water Stewards program.

The sessions, which will describe the program and offer information on how to become a Master Water Steward, will be offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, or from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17. Both will be held at the district's offices, 15320 Minnetonka Blvd., Minnetonka.

The Master Water Stewards program, a partnership between the Watershed District and the Freshwater Society, teaches community residents how to reduce pollutants from urban runoff.

It's funded via the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment.
