The 911 call transcript from St. Louis Park crash

Authorities on Friday released the transcript of 911 calls they received early Thursday just after a car carrying a woman and five children plunged into a holding pond in St. Louis Park.

Operator 1: 911?

Caller 1: Hi, um, there’s a … there’s a woman screaming. I … I’m not sure where she is. It sounds like she’s up somewhere ….

Operator 1: Outside?

Caller 1: Near the on-ramp to Highway 100, um ….

Operator 2: 911.

Caller 1: Towards off of, um …

Caller 2: Hey, yeah, I live in St. Louis Park …

Caller 1: Highway 7 and …

Caller 2: I just got home from dropping my fiancée off and ….

Caller 1: … the holding pond.

Caller 2: It’s on the interstate …

Operator 1: OK, like a car taking off or something?

Caller 2: Of, um, 100, merging from 7 …

Caller 1: You know it’s dark over there, I just can’t …

Caller 2: And there’s somebody out there screaming …
