Arts school hosts information sessions
Perpich Arts High School, open to students from throughout Minnesota, will host three information sessions for sophomores and juniors who are interested in attending the two-year program for grades 11 and 12.
The sessions will be Saturday, Oct. 12, from 1-3 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1-3 p.m. Registration or RSVP is not necessary. Perpich is at 6125 Olson Memorial Parkway in Golden Valley, just west of the Hwys. 55 and 100 interchange.
Seven arts areas are available: artscience, dance, literary arts, media arts, music, theater and visual arts. Because the school accepts applications from students throughout the state, it provides a residential component. The residence hall will hold up to 140 students. The school can enroll up to 310 juniors and seniors.
Feb. 1 is the deadline for applications for the 2014-15 school year. Students meeting admittance and arts criteria will be invited to interviews, with auditions or portfolio reviews at the school in March 2014.
Contact email@example.com, 763-279-4268 or 1-800-657-3515 with questions about the application and admission process.
