A 20-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with murder in connection with the stabbing of a Bloomington man during a weekend party.

Justin Lee Dosch was charged Tuesday with second-degree murder in the death of Samuel Enrique Martinez, 24, who was found lying in his driveway Sunday morning with a stab wound. He died at the scene. Bloomington police were called about 3:30 a.m. to the 9200 block of 5th Avenue S. on a report of a stabbing.

According to the complaint:

Dosch was seen rummaging through someone else's car as the party broke up at 3 a.m. Martinez reportedly confronted Dosch and told him to leave when a verbal argument broke out between the men and several others. Eventually a fight started and Dosch was seen swinging a knife at Martinez. Martinez fell back, telling others he had been stabbed before he collapsed on the driveway.

Dosch fled on foot. Police found him Sunday afternoon at his home, where he acknowledged that he got into a fight with Martinez and stabbed him. He surrendered to police.
