LAKEVILLE VETERANS MEMORIAL AT ARONSON PARK, 8250 202nd St. Ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m. The American Legion Post 44 and the VFW Post 210 of Lakeville will spend the morning visiting area cemeteries starting at 8 a.m. at Orchard Lake Cemetery, 16165 Kenwood Trail. They will visit 11 other cemeteries before the 12:30 ceremony at the veterans memorial.

Ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. near the Soldiers Memorial monument, with a commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and the key role Minnesotans played in the Union victory. There will be a reading of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, music by the Minneapolis Police Band and a dove release.
