Theft. Chainsaws were stolen from an unlocked garage on the 21000 block of Larkin Road.

Found. A shotgun was found in a ditch by the driveway of a home on the 19200 block of County Road 10. Officers took the shotgun for safekeeping.

Theft. More than $2,300 worth of cigarettes were stolen from SuperAmerica, 5205 Vernon Av.

Assault. A 43-year-old man was arrested for assault in the emergency room at Fairview Southdale, 6401 France Av. S.

Theft. Paint sprayers valued at $7,000 were stolen from locked trailers in a lot on the 7300 block of Washington Avenue S.

Assault. A 62-year-old Edina man was arrested for assault on the 5900 block of Kellogg Avenue.

Burglary. Electronics were stolen from a home on the 4200 block of Sunnyside Road.

Assault. A 24-year-old Hopkins man was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation following an argument with his 24-year-old girlfriend at Maynard's, 685 Excelsior Blvd. The girlfriend also was arrested for obstructing the legal process when she physically resisted efforts to be taken to a detox facility, police said.

Drunken driving. A 43-year-old Excelsior woman was arrested for drunken driving after her vehicle went into a ditch at Hwy. 7 and Christmas Lake Road.

NOV. 4

Assistance. A woman called police to report that she left her apartment two hours prior to the call to take her pregnant sister to the hospital and she forgot she had left chicken cooking in the oven. The apartment was on the 5200 block of Bryantwood Drive. An officer and the apartment manager turned off the oven, opened windows and turned on a fan to air the apartment out.

Animal complaint. The owner of Edward Jones Investments, 5159 Main St. E., called police to report that a squirrel came into the business when the door was opened. It exited through the door a short time later.

Theft. A trailer valued at $1,000 was stolen from the 400 block of Park Street E.

Robbery. A 25-year-old man was arrested after allegedly robbing a person of two bank bags containing more than $1,000 on the 6400 block of Nicollet Avenue S.

Theft. Jewelry and coins worth more than $7,000 were stolen from a home on the 6200 block of Sheridan Avenue S.

NOV. 20

Theft. Valuable metals were stolen from four air conditioners on the 6500 block of Penn Avenue S. The damage was estimated at $48,000.

NOV. 29

Burglary. A large amount of cash and jewelry were stolen from a home on the 7300 block of Blaisdell Avenue S.

NOV. 30

Robbery. Officers responded to TCF Bank, 6501 Richfield Pkwy., regarding a hold-up alarm. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Drunken driving. A 63-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was stopped for erratic driving on Minnetonka Boulevard and St. Alban's Bay Road.
