WEEK OF SEPT. 24

Theft. A man reported that his mother had stolen his vehicle 28 years ago and sold it to someone. He was informed that this is a civil issue and that the statute of limitations would preclude the filing of a lawsuit about any violation that may have taken place.

SEPT. 13

Theft. A safe containing $50,000-$60,000 and a jewelry box were reported missing from a home on the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road.

SEPT. 21

Theft. A tractor and cultivator were stolen from a home on the 6400 block of County Road 19.

DEEPHAVEN

OCT. 21

Property damage. Officers responded to a home on the 18000 block of Minnetonka Boulevard regarding a report that the glass in the front door had been broken. It was discovered the resident's large dog had jumped on the door, breaking the glass with its front paws.

EDINA

OCT. 15

Theft. An 18-year-old Edina man was arrested for stealing a $70 belt from Herberger's at Southdale Center.

Drugs. A 29-year-old Edina man and a 30-year-old Maple Grove man were arrested for possession of a controlled substance at a parking lot on the 6200 block of Colonial Way.

OCT. 17

Drugs. A 15-year-old boy was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road.

Child endangerment. A 21-year-old Albertville woman was arrested for child endangerment and drunken driving on the 5100 block of Lincoln Drive. She was babysitting a 2-year-old girl who was in the vehicle at the time of the arrest. The child's father was contacted and he came to pick her up.

OCT. 20

Theft. A 13-year-old girl was arrested for stealing an $88 pair of shoes from Herberger's at Southdale Center.

MEDINA

SEPT. 17

Noise complaint. A woman from a home on the 300 block of Lorenz Street reported loud music in the area. Officers were unable to hear any music and contacted the woman on the telephone. While she was speaking with an officer, she discovered the music was coming from her own garage; she had forgotten to turn off a radio in the garage.

SEPT. 18

Suspicious vehicle. An abandoned vehicle was reported on Hwy. 55 and Rolling Hills Road. The driver's door on the vehicle had been left open. Officers contacted the registered owner and he said he was hunting in the area and must have left the door open.

SHOREWOOD

OCT. 15

Obstruction. A 28-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process on the 5700 block of Wood Duck Circle.

OCT. 16

Theft. A briefcase was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on the 5300 block of Vine Hill Road.

OCT. 18

Drunken driving. A 58-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for drunken driving at Minnetonka Drive and Yellowstone Trail following a report of property damage.

TONKA BAY

OCT. 14

Drugs. A 22-year-old Mound man was arrested for third-degree sale of marijuana and fifth-degree possession of marijuana and a 17-year-old Chanhassen boy was arrested for attempted fifth-degree possession of marijuana and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance at Narrows Park.

OCT. 19

Driving violation. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for having no Minnesota driver's license after he was driving his golf cart on public roads and it crashed into some shrubs. The incident occurred on the 5400 block of Manitou Lane.
