Chanhassen

MARCH 28

Disturbance. Golf clubs, a cell phone, clothing and tools, value $700, were stolen from a vehicle in the 7800 block of Autumn Ridge Way.

MARCH 29

Disturbance. Police were notified that four men dressed in black were jumping on the roof of the religious bookstore in the 500 block of W. 78th Street. The men were gone when police arrived.

MARCH 30

Animal complaint. Police received a report that a deer jumped off a bridge and onto Hwy. 312. Police were unable to locate the deer.

CORCORAN

MARCH 29

Disturbance. Police responded to a neighbor disturbance complaint in the 20800 block of 70th Avenue N. The neighbor was doing a construction project when police arrived around midnight.

Miscellaneous. An intoxicated woman in the 6600 block of Pioneer Trail reported that she was afraid of some howling coyotes.

Eden Prairie

MARCH 24

Auto theft. A 1995 Plymouth Voyager van, valued at $1,500, was stolen from the Walgreen's parking lot, 10180 Hennepin Town Rd.

Excelsior

MARCH 19

Animal complaint. Police received a report of dogs chasing a jogger in the 100 block of George Street.

Animal rescue. A distressed squirrel was stuck in a hole in some concrete steps in the 200 block of Morse Avenue.

Disturbance. Due to skateboarding, teenagers reportedly disturbed services in the 600 block of Mill Street.

APRIL 5

Suspicious person. Police received a report of an 80-plus -year-old woman peeping into a neighbor's window.

APRIL 6

Auto theft. A woman flagged down officers to report her car had been stolen. She stated that she parked the car in front of Meridian boutique. Officers located the car in the Haskell's parking lot.

MAPLE PLAIN

APRIL 4

Theft. Someone stole a "Monster" energy drink banner off a store front in the 5200 block of Hwy. 12.

Minneapolis

WEEK OF MARCH 26 -- 31

Burglary. A homeowner returned home in the 300 block of NE. 17th Street and found the back door open and a window near the door broken. The homeowner noticed the stove in the kitchen had been used to make food, and there were drawers open. Police arrived and found two suspects in the homeowner's bedroom. They were arrested for burglary.

APRIL 5

Theft. A fish locator, rods and tackle, value $1,050, were stolen from a vehicle parked along Sunnyfield Road.

MARCH 28

Disturbing activity. A snowball thrower was found at the Pizza Ranch, 425 Merger St.

Plymouth

MARCH 28

Property damage. A man reported that someone bent two landscape lights in his yard in the 4600 block of Minnesota Lane. He said there has been a pattern of vandalism at his house for years, normally occurring between 11 p.m. and midnight around this time of year.

MARCH 29

Auto theft. A woman reported that she left her vehicle in a parking lot in the 9700 block of N. 37th Place. In the morning, the car was parked in a different spot and there were cigarette butts in the ashtray. The woman believes someone used the vehicle without her consent. She keeps an extra set of keys in the console.

Shorewood

MARCH 19

Dangerous smoking. Police observed a man standing outside a vehicle parked at a gas pump at the Holiday gas station, 19955 Hwy. 7, with a lit cigarette in his mouth while he was fueling his vehicle. The man was cited for dangerous smoking in the presence of flammable material.

MARCH 20

Found property. A gun was found outside the front door of Oasis Market, 24365 Smithtown Rd. The gun was placed in an evidence locker.

MARCH 27

Suspicious person. A 45-year-old man was arrested on warrants after police received a report of a man trying to open car doors and hiding behind dumpsters behind the Shorewood Shopping Center.

MARCH 30

Suspicious person. Police received a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle driving around in the 22000 block of Stratford Place and yelling for a dog. The person who reported the incident thought the suspicious person was possibly trying to steal a dog.

APRIL 4

Property damage. The South Shore Senior Center's mailbox flag was broken off. The damage was $5.

Theft. An ATV trailer valued at $3,325 was stolen from a yard in the 4300 block of Enchanted Drive.
