The redevelopment of the former Wayzata Bay Center will now officially include luxury condos.
The "Regatta" will be located above the street of the Plaza Block, part of a mixed-use plan for The Promenade of Wayzata with retail. BohLand Development expects to break ground on the project next summer, with an opening planned for late 2014 or early 2015. The Wayzata-based company will start selling condos in January.
"The advent of the lakefront initiative by the City of Wayzata makes this community poised to become one of the most exciting places in the metropolitan area to live," Steve Bohl, owner of BohLand Development, said in a statement.
