Lost. A trumpet was lost on the 4200 block of Lynn Avenue.
AUG. 15
Theft. Two 12-year-old boys were arrested for stealing shorts and a shirt from Macy's at Southdale Center.
AUG. 22
Liquor violation. A 52-year-old Richfield man was arrested for unauthorized liquor consumption on the 6700 block of York Avenue S. after he was found consuming liquor in public.
AUG. 23
Burglary. Someone entered an unlocked home on the 5500 block of Zenith Avenue S. and stole a purse and a vehicle.
AUG. 25
Theft. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked locker at Edina Community Center, 5701 Normandale Road.
JULY 30
Animal complaint. An injured goose was at Hwy. 7 and Water Street. The goose jumped into a pond and swam away when officers arrived.
AUG. 3
Drunken driving. A 42-year-old Edina woman was arrested for drunken driving at Lake and Second Streets after she was observed driving on the wrong side of the road.
AUG. 5
Suspicious activity. Someone reported people under a blanket and "up to no good" at Commons Park. A bong was reported near them. Officers found an 18-year-old Brooklyn Center man, a 17-year-old Minnetonka girl and a 24-year-old Minnetonka man. They were fully clothed, and the bong was a tobacco-smoking device. They were advised to stay out from under the blanket.
AUG. 23
Assault. A 29-year-old Excelsior woman was arrested for assault and terroristic threats on the 300 block of Morse Avenue.
JULY 24
Vandalism. Someone put feminine hygiene products and Silly String on a vehicle in the 1100 block of Trailwood South.
JULY 26
Theft. Five golf ball washers were stolen from Pioneer Creek Golf Course at 823 Copeland Road.
JULY 28
Crash. A 61-year-old Hanover woman fell asleep at the wheel, crossed over the center line, went into a ditch, struck a tree and came back onto the road. She suffered minor cuts and scratches from the windshield breaking.
JULY 20
Animal complaint. A parrot at large was reported on the 400 block of Emma Street.
AUG. 2
Theft. Two adults and three juveniles were arrested for entering multiple unlocked vehicles throughout the city.
AUG. 20
Drugs. In an incident on 68th Street and Portland Avenue, officers stopped a vehicle for speeding and found marijuana. A search warrant was executed at the home of the driver and passenger, on the 6900 block of 5th Avenue S., and a large amount of marijuana was found.
AUG. 28
Robbery. A man was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by three males at Wood Lake Nature Center, 3710 Lake Shore Drive S.
AUG. 30
Theft. Fish and vitamins were stolen from World of Fish, 1516 66th St. E.
AUG. 11
Missing. A chicken was reported missing from the 5300 block of Shady Hills Circle. A trail of feathers led to the neighbor's yard. A couple of loose dogs were suspected of taking the chicken and killing it.
