A car went into a pond Thursday morning near a Golden Valley intersection, and authorities say a woman's body was found in the vehicle.
The car came to rest in the pond near Winnetka and 23rd Avenues, not far from the Pennsylvania Woods Nature area, said Police Chief Stacy Carlson.
Authorities were notified that the vehicle had left the road shortly after 8:30 a.m., Carlson said, but it wasn't clear how long the car had been in the water.
Other details, such as the woman's name and what brought on the incident, have yet to be disclosed.
