Animal complaint. A turkey got into a home on the 1600 block of 63rd Street. It flew out the window before the officer arrived.

JULY 30

Burglary. Someone broke into Health Enhancement Research, 7400 Metro Blvd., and stole four laptops and a projector.

Theft. Someone broke into a trailer on the 4000 block of 70th Street W. and stole two saws and a jackhammer.

AUG. 3

Property damage. A 12-year-old boy was arrested for breaking the mirror on a vehicle in the 6800 block of Cornelia Drive.

AUG. 10

Theft. A purse left unattended in a stroller was stolen from Wooddale Park, 4500 50th St. W.

JULY 28

Suspicious person. A 35-year-old woman went to the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department to report that a man on a bicycle approached and said "Hi" to her in Commons Park, near the playground. She felt uncomfortable and thought his stance was overbearing.

INDEPENDENCE

JULY 21

Animal complaint. A horse was found on the 200 block of County Road 92 N. The owner arrived and took the horse home.

Indecent exposure. A 20-year-old Loretto woman was cited for indecent exposure and underage consumption in a parking lot at an apartment complex on Loretto Street and Medina Street N.

Theft. An ATV was stolen from a business on Steiner Street.

Child found. A 10-year-old boy was transported back to his home in Mound after he was found riding his scooter on County Road 44.

JULY 15

Disturbance. An intoxicated 58-year-old Norwood Young America man was cited for creating a public nuisance on Reform Street S. and Park Place, then transported to a detox facility.

PLYMOUTH

JULY 13

Burglary. Several guns and ammunition were stolen from a home on the 2400 block of Troy Lane. The suspect gained access to the home through the garage.

JULY 14

Underage drinking. Twelve people were cited for underage consumption at a party on the 1300 block of Zircon Lane N.

JULY 17

Drugs. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for alcohol and narcotics violations after he was found slumped over in a vehicle on the 4400 block of Nathan Lane.

Curfew violation. A 14-year-old and two 15-year-old boys were cited for curfew violations after an officer observed them out at 1 a.m. on the 10200 block of 51st Avenue N.

JULY 24

Property damage. Dead fish and animal feces were put on several vehicles in the 17400 block of 24th Avenue N.

RICHFIELD

AUG. 6

Theft. A woman reported her wedding ring was stolen from her purse while she was at Frenchman's bar, 1400 66th St. E.

AUG. 8

Theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 7600 block of Penn Avenue S. The owner left the vehicle running and the key inside while he ran in to check his mail. When he returned, he saw someone driving away in his vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in Minneapolis.

JULY 16

Burglary. An iPad and jewelry were stolen from a home on the 8900 block of Wedgemere Drive.
