WEEK OF JUNE 11
Suspicious activity. Officers responding to a business at 2:10 a.m. regarding a possible burglary in progress found a man pruning bushes. Officers advised him of more appropriate times to do yardwork.
WEEK OF JUNE 18
Suspicious lights. Officers responded to a report of several suspicious floating lights in the night sky. It was discovered they were Chinese lanterns that had been released at a nearby wedding ceremony.
Suspicious person. A neighbor reported seeing a suspicious man looking into the windows at the home next door. Officers located the man, who was the homeowner. He was locked out and trying to wake his daughters to let him in.
JUNE 20
Suspicious person. A man on a tractor was asking children if they wanted a ride on the 6500 block of Pioneer Trail. Officers advised him to stop because he was scaring the children.
JUNE 24
Dispute. Officers mediated a dispute between two men arguing over saving spaces at the Medina Entertainment Center flea market, 500 Hwy. 55. The men agreed to be civil and not cause further problems.
JULY 8
Burglary. Someone stole an electronic game system and games from the teen center at Our Lady of Grace Church, 5071 Eden Av.
Theft. A laptop was stolen from a customer at Good Earth Restaurant, 3460 Galleria.
JUNE 18
Theft. Someone pried open the collection boxes at Church of St. Joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock Lane, and stole the money.
JUNE 20
Theft. A gun was stolen from a vehicle parked at McDonald's, 6255 Sycamore Lane.
JUNE 5
Animal complaint. A woman reported deer were chasing and kicking her dogs while they were outside at a home on the 2400 block of Tamarack Drive.
JUNE 17
Noise complaint. Officers responded to a loud party on Bayside Lane. Twelve people were cited for underage consumption. Two were caught giving false names and one was detained for giving a false name and obstructing the legal process.
JUNE 24
Child found. A 9-year-old girl was found walking on County Road 92. She was taken to the Police Department, where a relative picked her up.
JUNE 11
Drunken driving. A 24-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle struck a tree on the 4100 block of Berkshire Lane N.
JUNE 12
Theft. A tractor was stolen from the 9900 block of 13th Avenue N.
JULY 13
Theft. Someone stole the night deposit from the safe at Cinco De Mayo, 813 66th St. E.
JULY 20
Robbery. Two suspects entered SuperAmerica, 7720 Nicollet Av. S., and robbed the store clerk at gun point. The suspects fled with cash and cigarettes.
Burglary. Someone broke a window at a home on the 7600 block of 15th Avenue S. and stole a jar containing $250 in change.
JUNE 19
Robbery. A man out jogging at 11 p.m. was robbed at gunpoint by six males. They ordered him to the ground and kicked him several times. The suspects fled with his iPod and headphones.
